Did You Know?  Diamonds encourages one to perceive how life’s trial and lessons can be put to positive use. It lends strength in high-pressure situations and enables one to respond to stressful experiences with grace.

Did You Know?  During the Middle Ages, diamond mine owners perpetuated myths that diamonds were poisonous. This was to prevent the mineworkers swallowing the diamonds in an attempt to smuggle them out of the mines.

Did You Know? The first recorded history of the diamond dates back some 3,000 years to India, where it is likely that diamonds were first valued for their ability to refract light. In those days, the diamond was used in two ways-for decorative purposes, and as a talisman to ward off evil or provide protection in battle.

Did You Know? The largest faceted diamond in the world is the Golden Jubilee discovered in 1985. It weighs 545.67 carats, and has a fire rose cut. It is a rare yellow-brown color, making it one of the most beautiful stones ever unearthed. It was given to the King of Thailand in 1997 and named the Golden Jubilee memorializing his fiftieth coronation anniversary.
